Toronto, Canada – July 15, 2022:
SK Sports Holding, founded by Sports Icons Clarence Seedorf and Khabib Nurmagomedov, announced today a partnership with Hoss Sports Canada to launch the pioneering Seedorf Khabib Performance Club in Toronto, a soccer school with a unique methodology where Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is integrated within the soccer training.
On July 24th SKPC Canada will host a press conference at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel at 4pm, where media can learn more from Khabib Nurmagomedov and Clarence Seedorf directly.
SK Sports Holding, which is headquartered in Dubai, has joined forces with Hoss Sports Canada owned by Hossein Abadi to operate the Performance Clubs in Canada based on an exclusive license agreement, with plans to open various additional locations across the country offering youngsters the opportunity to develop their sports and social abilities.
Boys and girls from age 5 to 19 can subscribe for the year program at canada.skperformanceclub.com. The first 50 subscribers will win a free-of-charge participation to the SKPC Summer Camp taking place from July 25th to July 31st 2022.
Last year, the Seedorf Khabib Performance Club was launched in Dubai with a mission to help create good people and great athletes. The two met in 2020 and immediately formed a bond, sharing a common desire to give back to society and leave a lasting impact on the lives of young people by promoting healthy lifestyles.
Seedorf is among the greatest soccer players of all time. The four-time UEFA Champions League winner is the only player in history to have won the trophy with three different clubs (Ajax, Real Madrid and AC Milan). Since 2001, he has created and operated soccer schools and community leagues across the globe including Suriname, USA, and Netherlands among others, also being advisor for club owners, soccer federations, and soccer academies.
Undefeated UFC champion Khabib, a huge soccer fan himself, has long since been known for his charitable and community work in his native Dagestan and globally – since retiring from MMA in 2020 this work has only grown. Khabib has taken his experience as a top-tier athlete and has established a sport talent management company to support athletes in their professional journeys.
As part of the process of launching the Performance Club, SKPC Canada will also be recruiting new coaches who will be trained with their unique methodology and philosophy. Any interested applicants should have a passion for sports, experience in coaching, working with or coordinating youth between the ages of 5 to 19 years old, and have a physical education or sports related degree.
